Using the scale without letting it use you!

How to use the scale and stop letting it use you

Have you ever felt like this when you are trying to lose weight? Can you relate to the below statement?

"I know weight can fluctuate all day and everyday bit of got down to 140 and then went back up to 142 today. How is this possible I weigh myself first thing everyday I am tracking my food, training hard. WHAT GIVES?!"

If you said "YES I CAN RELATE" then guess what? YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! I work with women over 35 helping them lose body fat and add muscle and this is SUPER COMMON.

You say you KNOW weight fluctuates, but this tells me you don't BELIEVE it, not yet anyway.

Ladies our weight goes up and down all week, all month. That is why it is important to know how to use the scale so you don’t self sabotage. Because it IS a very powerful tool when we learn to use it, and stop letting it use us!

IF you're going to use the scale, there is only ONE way to use it. Weigh in everyday first thing in the morning and take a weekly BODY WEIGHT average.

Your weekly body weight average is the only thing that matters if you're working for fat loss. If that number trends down, you are heading in the right direction and you are using the scale properly for your fat loss goals.

Your daily weight is simply a reflection of your hydration, digestion, and menstrual cycle.

I encourage all my clients to use the scale this way for a time, it breaks down the power this number has over you. It becomes just another thing you do everyday when you step on to collect the data, and move on. I love this affordable smart scale!

The truth is that our EXPECTATIONS of what the scale SHOULD be doing is what gets in our way of creating consistency at all.

Control what you can, your habits.

Collect the data like a researcher, not a dieter.

And keep going!
