🧠 M - Mindset Tip: You’re not behind. You’re just building a lifestyle.
It’s easy to feel like you should be further along by now. But real, sustainable change isn’t flashy, it’s actually rather boring. Every workout you show up for, every time you choose protein over skipping a meal, every time you go to bed instead of scrolling, every time you take a walk even though your mind is trying to talk you out of it…That’s stacking wins. And those wins compound. Stop comparing your Day 30 to someone else’s day 300 or 600! The process itself is the whole point. Don’t get so focused on a result that you struggle to even execute the process (which is literally what gets you results)
💪 T - Training Tip: More range = more results
Full range of motion beats partial reps. If you’re trying to build strength and muscle, aim to move your joints through their full range in every lift. That might mean lowering a bit to squat deeper or adjusting your form so you can get a full stretch at the bottom of your row or press. Why? Because fully lengthened muscles have more room to grow and develop. Chase those quality reps that actually help you get stronger. Better range of motion is also a great way to progress without adding more weight or volume.
🍳 N - Nutrition Insight: Meal prep isn’t about eating perfectly, it’s just about having a plan.
You don’t need fancy recipes or 10 perfectly portioned containers. You need a system that works for yourlife. That might be cooking proteins in bulk, washing fruit ahead of time, or simply having a “go-to” breakfast and lunch so dinner is flexible. Think of meal prep as decision reduction, not a food prison. The fewer food decisions you have to make on the fly, the easier it is to stay consistent. That’s the real win.
Friday Five:
- One nice day (and I do mean ONE here in MA 😥) and I just had to get some casual “goes with anything” sneakers. I love these Adidas because they are SO comfortable. The cloud foam is unmatched! *also on sale right now* which is kind of annoying considering I paid $80.
- April showers? I was in desperate need of a real rain coat and since we are heading to Ireland this June I knew I needed an "Adult rain coat" 😂 This one from Athleta fit the bill!
- My favorite flowy gym tee (even out of the gym tee!) is on sale this week too in my go to on brand color, juniper. As is the signature rib tee! I tend to wear this one out of the gym even more!
- I just got these ankle straps for cable machine kickback work and they are incredible, with 3 options to hook the cable on and a strap to create even more stability through your foot so you can really execute the movement, they cannot be beat!
- I shared a few videos this week on my new garage gym leg extension and leg curl machine and this thing sold out quick! The price is insane and was the lowest I could find, the quality is 10/10 for the price! It is back in stock, for now!
