  • hormones become dysregulated, perimenopause makes this even worse

Women over 35 naturally lose muscle each decade due to age related muscle loss and perimenopause.


Protein:

  • stabilizes blood sugar

  • keeps hunger down

  • supports hormone health

  • improves recovery

  • builds muscle (your metabolic engine)

your body will not tone up without protein.


3. Hydration, Micronutrients, and Minerals

Most midlife fatigue, cravings, and bloating come from:

  • low water and electrolytes

  • low micronutrient intake

Nourishment isn’t just calories and macros, it’s minerals, vitamins, and fluids.


4. Sleep, Stress, and Recovery

This is the silent fat loss killer for women 35+.

Your body needs:

  • 7–9 hours of sleep

  • daily walking

  • recovery days

  • blood sugar balance

  • stress management

Why?
Because your hormones influence your training, cravings, fat storage, muscle recovery, and mood. If the above habits are off your hormones could be driving to over eat some days and under eat others.

Your results depend on your recovery.
